Position: IS Analyst - Oracle
Job Description 
This position provides day-to-day support for the Human Resource, Employee Self Service and Payroll systems. It will supply business and technical project leadership for the implementation of new or enhanced functions as they relate to Human Resources and Payroll functions.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Work with business users to develop application and/or business process enhancements to increase productivity and/or reduce cost.
2. Research solutions in existing or new products when analyzing the best solutions for a business application.
3. Drive Global projects from requirement gathering, design and configuration, testing, deployment and post production support. This includes engaging business users and removing obstacles to meeting business objectives.
4. Work with peers on a Global team coordinating support and deployment of the applications being deployed in every region around the world.
5. Work with business users to develop application and/or business process enhancements to increase productivity and/or reduce cost.
6. Create technical documents and communicate with developers when custom interfaces or other objects are required.
7. Participate in a high performance culture around open communication, accountability and measurable service standards.

Qualifications 
• BS degree in Computer Science or related program is required.
• 5-7 years IS experience implementing, configuring and supporting, Oracle 11i Human Resource applications (to include Advanced Benefits, Payroll, and Self Service).
• Proven experience personalizing Self Service functions, using Discoverer, and SQL.
• Oracle Payroll implementation experience would be a plus.
• The ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions in a time sensitive environment such as Payroll is essential. This includes knowledge of the Oracle TAR escalation process.
• This position requires effective communication with HR and Payroll personnel to quickly learn and understand their business processes and needs.
• The ability to effectively communicate with IS Infrastructure and Development departments on a technical level to deliver business requirements, design specifications, and high-level process flows.
• Although limited, some international travel may be required.
