These areas include exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas (upstream), oil and gas service and drilling companies (oilfield services), gathering and transportation of crude oil and natural gas (midstream), and refining of crude oil and marketing of petroleum products (downstream). Technology Integration   Deloitte Consulting's technology consultants help our Energy clients to use technology integration to solve business challenges. Our technology specialists, most with extensive experience in systems integration and development, are committed to delivering efficient, technology-based solutions to our clients. We assess our client's current technology needs and assist with systems design and implementation to improve both enterprise-wide integration and profitability.  Through our long-term partnerships with many of the world's leading technology companies we can offer extremely cost effective implementation to our clients.    Information Management   Deloitte Consulting's Information Management (IM) Service Area designs, develops, and implements systems and processes to capture, integrate and distribute information in an enterprise.  Our specific service offerings within the IM area include: - Information Strategy & Architecture - Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence - Enterprise Portals - Enterprise Content Management A Manager in the Information Management practice is expected to have the following overall IT and consulting expertise: - MUST have Management Consulting experience - Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architecture - Experience with program leadership, governance and change enablement - Develop and manage vendor relationships - Lead workshops for client education - Manage resources and budget on client projects In addition, Managers in the Information Management - Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence practice must have the following management/strategy capabilities and technical skills.   Management/Strategy Capabilities - Ability to scope out the effort and cost for an enterprise reporting solution - Ability to define how an enterprise information system will align with the organization's business and strategic objectives - Ability to manage multiple teams on a data warehousing engagement Technical Skills - Proficient in one or more of major ETL tools such as Informatica, Datastage, SAS and their administration - Proficient in one or more of major BI Reporting tools such as Business Objects, Hyperion, Cognos, SAS and their administration - Proficient in one or more of major metadata tools and their administration - Proficient in one or more of major OLAP tools such as MicroStrategy, Hyperion, Brio, SAS and their administration - Proficient in one or more of major data modeling tools such as Erwin, Data Architect, Oracle Designer and their administration - Provide support on data quality components during the implementation of the solution architecture - Provide technical recommendations for optimized data access and retention for the data warehouse - Provide oversight support to the design, development and QA teams - Define areas of improvement to optimize data flows - Identify strategy for data acquisition and archival - Candidates must be willing to travel nationally to client locations Edcuation: Bachelor's Degree; an advanced degree or MBA ispreferred; 6-10 years of relevant work experience     Location:  Houston Irving or Dallas About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
