The Hospital Sales Consultant/ Professional Sales Consultant targets, promotes and sells Bayer imaging products to hospitals and imaging centers. The Hospital Sales Consultant/ Professional Sales Consultant manages his/her territory in order to maintain & grow existing accounts, develop acquisition plans for new accounts and to achieve district and corporate objectives. The provision of account specific service and support is an integral element of Hospital Division sales activity. As a member of the Hospital sales team, the Sales Consultant/Professional Sales Consultant works closely with his/her Regional Sales Manager, other district team members and other groups internal & external, to achieve overall objectives. They provide quality consultative service, provide up to date industry information, coordinates and integrates outside alliances, as well as other internal personnel & resources to fit customer needs. This territory covers Poughkeepsie NY, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess counties NY and Fairfield county CT. There are no overnights in this territory. BA/BS required. Biological science or related discipline preferred. Minimum 1 year of business to business selling experience preferred. Pharmaceutical & Hospital selling experience preferred. Radiology or MRI experience preferred. Consultative selling experience preferred. Scientific background and understanding of clinical trials preferred. Excellent negotiation skills & networking capabilities required. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
