Job Description Health Systems Manager POSITION DATAJOB TITLE:Health Systems Manager Comp Plan:Corporate AccountsDEPARTMENT:HealthCare Corporate Sales FLSA:ExemptLocation/Territory:Base – Greater Philadelphia area; Territory – All US Quest locations; Other Regional Reference Labs as assignedGrade:SC-00Reports to:Vice President Health SystemsRevised:August 2008POSITION SUMMARY The Health Systems Manager is responsible for the development and on-going management of business opportunities within the respective customer, health system or business segments under their responsibility.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ·  Large account managemento Develops and maintains customer relationships to support contract terms and achieve assigned goals.o Develops working relationship with key shared service areas, i.e., warehousing, inventory planning, transportation, accounts receivable, managed services, etc.o Coordinates and communicates all necessary information to inventory planning, warehouse management and corpaorte transportation to support the assigned customer.·  Competitive strategic account development, as necessary.·  Responsibility for all aspects of management of customer relationships within assigned segmento Develops strategic account plan for assigned customerso Provides direction, feedback and support to all Account Managers assigned to the respective customer or health system. o Responsible for the development and coordination of all standardization efforts for assigned customer or health system. o Participates, as necessary, on customer assigned teams.o Development and management of new contract rolloutso Participation in management of major shareholder or affiliate relationshipso Coordination of annual price roll within respective groupso Develops, maintains and coordinates customer and FHC metrics to ensure both FHC and the customer or health system mutually achieve respective contract objectives. ·  Development of RFP responses as necessary·  Interfacing with Supplier partners within their respective assignmentso Coordinates all assigned customer interaction with Thermo Fisher Scientific manufactured companies.  This includes the establishment and management of pricing, incentives and new product roll outs. o Coordinates the development and renewal of all Direct Manufacturer Agreements with the assigned customer or health system. ·  Development of pricing strategies within the customers of responsibility      Education: BachelorsJob Level: Manager
