ETHICON, Inc. develops and markets products for surgery, wound management and advanced wound care treatment. Products are marketed through four divisions: Ethicon Products for precise wound closure and tissue repair; CardioVations for minimally invasive cardiac procedures; Ethicon Women's Health && Urology for minimally invasive women's health procedures; and Johnson && Johnson Wound Management for hemostasis and advanced wound care. This Sales Representative position is with our Johnson and Johnson Wound Management, Biosurgicals (Hemostasis) franchise. The sales representative will be assigned a sales territory focusing on the expansion of Johnson && Johnson Wound Management's full line of surgical hemostasis products and to convert competitive products in a manner that is commensurate with company policy and sales direction. In this role, the Sales Representative will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of our products to clinicians. This position requires the ability to handle customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology. Additionally, you will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and which leads the customer to action. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, minimum of two years outside selling experience, the ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) is required. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record; and, excellent written and oral communication skills. Would prefer candidates with documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan), ability to target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan; and ability to collaborate with other J&&J associates (peers, marketing, Strategic Account Managers), external companies (distributor reps) and KOLs. Self-starters with strong time management and planning skills are a plus. Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device experience as well as experience in product sales to a highly educated/high profile customer base is strongly preferred, but not required. Preference will be given to those individuals living within 30 miles of the posted territory.
