This key role will support and increase the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the HR department by supporting local and global implementations and facilitating alignment of improved processes and NIBR specific infrastructure.Major responsibilities include:· Manage the realization of local and global HR Operations projects with aim of improving infrastructure, effectiveness and customer orientation through proper and comprehensive project management (process mapping, electronic PMP, ESS/MSS).· Act as principle point person with local team for topics, issues and initiatives related to Operations and support Global Head in fulfilling objectives of area.· Manage local third party relations and support global initiatives in increasing transparency, accountability of third party service providers. Represent NIBR interests appropriately versus internal Novartis and external providers. Support the formulation of these interests and positions.· Participate in NIBR and Novartis wide projects on local as well as global basis.· Build internal HR and Line as well as external relationships to support and strive in the function and to achieve set objectives.· Support the development and formulate realization strategies for increased automation and a future oriented HR service delivery set-up within NIBR (including using the intranet, Sharepoint, Shared Services, etc.).· Oversee and coordinate local HR Operations activities and team. Provide energy to team and project team members, support developing mind set of becoming a high quality and high performance organization.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 5+ years relevant HR experience or associated field (i.e. Consulting, Operations, C&B, HR IT/IS, etc.). Solid team player with strong project management and analytical skills required. Experience working cross-functionally in a global environment highly desirable. Multi-lingual (German) helpful.
