Group Leader, Medical Information In this role you will ensure proper dissemination of medical/technical information regarding all Hospira products upon verbal or written inquiry. You will direct training and supervision of medical professionals (e.g., R.Ph, RN) that function as the primary source for medical/technical information regarding Hospira products.Other responsibilities: Supervise the Medical Information Specialists/Assistant Medical Information Specialist specific to device/drug support Provide adequate, accurate and timely product information on all Hospira products, so a well-informed and rational decision about product selection or usage may be made by a customer Ensure that all customer inquiry requests are entered into the inforMED™ database which will allow for accurate statistics, reports and quick retrieval of inquiries if necessary Research, obtain and file information necessary to complete an inquiry Gather, evaluate and provide written reports when requested of all MedInfo statistics, including the ACD and Call-Tracking systemsTo be successful in this position, you must possess: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is preferred Previous supervision or project lead experience is highly preferred Minimum of 5 years experience practicing as an Pharmacist in a hospital setting or equivalent Well-developed analytical skills for assessing and evaluating matters Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail High motivation and self-starter abilities to proactively identify needs for process improvement Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to communicate highly technical information and interact effectively with people of diverse education, experience and position Proven success with participation and holding a leadership position on cross-functionalteams Knowledge of the FDA guidelines pertaining to off-label information is necessary Strong analytical skillsHospira offers an agile, yet balanced work culture and the types of compensation and benefits you’d expect from an industry leader.
