The Global Value-Based Pricing Manager will be responsible for establishing value-based pricing strategies and tactics inclusive of new product launches, regional pricing policies and structures, and marketing/sales promotions. Establish value-based pricing process and integrate into pre-launch product development process gates. Deliver on annual price && GP improvement goals in alignment with company BP commitments. Establish price && GP goals and targets for new product launches. Design value-based strategies to improve Regional GP && product mix performance. Assess && improve OCD regional contract terms && conditions to maximize price && GP value. Align pricing practices with local market reimbursement and government regulations. Work with sales && product marketing teams to establish value-based sales && pricing practices training program. Identify new breakthrough opportunities for price and GP improvement. Design programs/promotions that align value-based pricing with market share growth objectives. Work with regional product marketing organizations to create and define annual pricing strategies and tactics that support company BP objectives. Participates in design of proposed pricing models and approaches and perform required and examines alternatives. Supports the development of annual company BP plans inclusive of impact of year-on-year price, GP, and Net Income variance. Work with market research and outside vendors on establishment of market price trends and value stream indicators. Is expected to formulate and present recommendations to manager in areas of current product pricing, new product launch pricing, contract structure including terms and conditions, and special value-based marketing promotions. Will at times represent Pricing Department in meeting with other functional areas, both within and outside of the company. Errors in judgment or erroneous pricing decisions and recommendations may result in dramatic losses in revenue, market share, gross profit, and/or net income for the company. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Bachelor&'s Degree required; Master&'s Degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years pricing experience in a marketing organization required. International pricing experience preferred. Healthcare industry experience required; Cardiology/interventional devices industry experience preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively and work well across the organization, both domestically and abroad. Must be comfortable and proficient at presenting to senior company management, including company GMB. Apply Now
