Global Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: Manager, Global Marketing REPORTS TO: Sr Global Marketing Manager JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: This position will be responsible for helping to manage the launch of Strattice in Europe as well as future geographic expansions. You will be responsible for helping to define and implement strategies to support the Strattice product and surgical application launches. Success is defined by launching on time, meeting/exceeding sales forecasts, and prioritizing then entering into new markets and applications. Responsibilities include providing marketing leadership to global project teams, forecasting, driving product positioning, and protection of the brand, executing sales training, thought leader management, and portfolio planning. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide marketing leadership to global project teams. Prioritize and manage geographic expansion through the entire planning, launching, and sales maintenance stages for Strattice and future products. Develop and implement promotional and labeling material. Develop and execute strategic and tactical marketing that are aligned with the business plan. This includes determining segmentation strategies, target markets, product positioning, and messaging. Ensure consistency of the brand across applications and geographies. Coordinate sales training and physician educational programs. Identify new markets and prioritize their entry. Forecast, track and analyze competitive activity, proposing appropriate market responses. Lead thought leader summits to define product positioning, clinical trials, technique development, and potential new applications. Manage the portfolio planning process for future product configurations and new applications Manage global marketing metrics and build brand equity. QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM EDUCATION: MBA or equivalent required. Concentration in marketing strongly desired. MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Min of 5 years work experience with a min of 3 years of marketing experience for medical device or pharmaceutical firm including experience managing a global product line. 2. Demonstrated experience in working with international markets. Specific EU experience is a plus. 3. Ability to quickly learn LifeCell's business processes in order to deliver on a tight launch timeline for Europe . 4. Understanding of surgical selling and marketing as well as surgical procedures. 5. Proven ability to lead new product portfolio planning activities and market development activities. 6. Ability to motivate cross-functional teams to achieve stated goals. 7. Strong business acumen, analytical skills and results orientation. 8.
