We are looking to fill a position at the Scientist level. The person who fills the position will design mutant alleles and provide advice on allele design and target gene selection for the production of genetically modified mice in a high-throughput industrial setting.
Candidates should have earned a Ph.D. degree in a relevant science (biology, molecular biology, genetics, mouse development biology, biochemistry) and have relevant experience in molecular biology or mouse genetics. Experience with genomics research projects, bioinformatics, and mouse gene-targeting (knock-out) techniques, as well as knowledge of NCBI and other public cDNA, protein databases is highly desirable.
