Financial Analyst - (Job Number: 0810046) DescriptionNoramco, Inc., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Financial Analyst, located in Athens, Georgia. Noramco, Inc. produces a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients and is a major worldwide producer of medicinal analgesics, pharmaceutical intermediates and synthetic fine organic chemicals. It also produces monomers and polymers for pharmaceutical and medical devices. The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing all financial reports for the Athens site, consolidating reports for the total Company, and reporting all data to Corporate. Other duties include providing financial reconciliation's in a timely manner, support and analysis to business partners regarding business planning, budgeting and forecasting. Major responsibilities include: Prepare all financial statements, scorecards and other internal schedules for this site, consolidate total company, and transmit both actual and forecast reporting requirements to Corporate. Responsible for sales reporting for Total Company. Assist with coordination of monthly closings to ensure fair presentation of operating results by monitoring expense commitments placed through the purchasing systems. Prepare relevant account analysis in accordance with general ledger responsibility. Monitor general ledger spending activity, monthly closing support as required, monthly account analysis and reconciliation's. Serve as the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance subject matter expert for the Payment Cycle ensuring control activities are performed and tested. Other financial analysis as requested. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required with a major in Accounting strongly preferred. MBA would be a plus; CMA or CPA certification preferred. Minimum of three years related business experience is required. Experience working in an industrial environment is preferred. Experience in cost accounting/financial analysis and a complex understanding of the P&&L and Balance Sheet required. Experience using SAP preferred. Ability to learn and become a proficient user of multiple financial reporting systems is required. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
