Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions – the position is responsible for:1. Financial Planning & Analysis: 30%a. Provide Accounting and FP&A support for Sales & Marketing organizationb. Provide Accounting and FP&A support for various General & Administrative Positions, including IT2. Business Partner Role: 40%a. Develop and enhance a value added relationship with S&M functions and staff – help them to better understand the role of Finance as a Business Partnerb. Establish and Participate in Key Business Partner Activitiesi. Monthly Business reviews (MBR) participantii. Other teams as opportunity arisesc. Develop solid relationship with the Decision Support Group – help provide seamless support to S&M managers d. Provide lead support for proposed customer pricing deals (Channel Mgt Group) – provide Channel deal team support (also categorized in #3)e. Provide support for Medical Affairs activities3. Financial Management and Analysis 30%a. Provide comprehensive review/input to sales discounts and revenue model b. Gain solid understanding of incentive compensation model and participate in the development of any additions or changesc. Work in conjunction with Mfg Finance Manager to analyze Cubist distribution model - provide lead contact with S&Md. Take lead and support roles as required for various finance projects and ad hoc reportingRequired ExperienceEducation/Certification: Bachelor’s in finance-related capacityExperience: 8+ years, biotech / biopharm experience a plusKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient with Excel, Oracle based programsTotal Rewards:
