Field Service Rep. I/II-OK

Gambro is looking for a Field Service Representative I or II who inspects, services, and repairs (in the field) dialysis equipment on which training has been provided. Makes frequent contact with office to receive assignments and review service problems. May obtain assistance of more qualified personnel to solve extremely difficult or complex problems.



REQUIREMENTS:
· Requires two years of technical college or equivalent and 3 or more years of applicable experience or 2 years as a Field Service Representative with consistent performance.
· Requires high level of organizational and territory management skills.
· Demonstrated ability to manage self.
· Requires consistent performance in the ability to use logical methods to identify and solve equipment related problems.
· Ability to practice progressive maintenance and perform preventive maintenance.
· Demonstrated strong people interactive skills
· Relates well to a wide variety of people.
· Focuses on entire customer environment and needs to resolve problems.
· Demonstrated accountability for field service administrative tasks.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills relating to solving equipment problems.
· Ability to provide technical backup to Field Service Representative 1.
· Requires the ability to carry out the physical requirements of the job including physical transport, lifting, pulling, twisting and operation of equipment.
· Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move in excess of 50 pounds using lifting aids, technologies, or appropriate assistance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Performs preventive maintenance on time with all equipment and therapies.
· Sells service business within the territory as appropriate and works closely with sales to continue Gambro presence in territory.
· Maintains equipment within field territory and/or other areas as assigned.
· Provides a high level of quality field service according to established standards.
· Responsible and accountable for all assigned company assets.
· Completes paper work, documentation, and administrative tasks per organization policy and procedures.
· Maintains an action plan of personal development through goals and objectives to improve job skills in therapy and technical fields.
· Responsible for maintaining financial effectiveness within the assigned territory.
· Works effectively with Field Service Representatives 1 and 3, service dispatchers, sales representatives, clinical specialists, and customers.
· Communicates technical findings to appropriate in-house personnel.
· Performs any other additional duties or projects as assigned.
