Aerotek Professional Services Location: Hopkinton, MA 01748 Position Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Manufacturing/Production/Operations Fermentation and Purification Associates  Job Description: Manufacturing Associates-Fermentation and Purification ALL LEVELSJob DescriptionResponsible for the hands on execution of tasks related to the GMP manufacture of biopharmaceuticals. Assist or perform routine procedures following written instructions (SOPs, batch records, solution documents, protocols, etc.) in support of manufacturing intermediate, bulk or final drug product of acceptable quality to meet FDA and/or EMEA regulatory quality requirements. -Perform and document all activities in compliance to GMP's. Maintain, prepare and clean manufacturing areas, equipment, lab-ware and materials -Prepare solutions, media and other process related items in support of manufacturing processes -Collect in-process samples for pH, conductivity and temperature, etc. in support of manufacturing processes. -Operate manual, semi-automated and automated equipment used for the production of biopharmaceuticals in fermentation, purification, and/or central services -Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing processes -Assembly/disassembly of manufacturing equipment for product changeover procedures -Assist in the execution of process, equipment and cleaning validation -Write and revise SOP's. Flexibility in job responsibilities and scheduling is encouraged. Days and Nights availableRequired Experience0-8 years experience with pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing processes; or equivalent education, training, and experience. Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment . Good attention to detail. Basic knowledge of word processing software preferred.
