Equipment Maintenance Schedulers (Basic and Intermediate)
BPS Inc. is a leading process consulting and contract engineering company. For over 10 years we have been engaged in providing project, process, engineering and validation support to top-tier pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Currently, we are looking for several contract MAINTENANCE SCHEDULERS (Basic and Intermediate) to support the Engineering/Maintenance/Utility Department work for one of our major pharmaceutical clients. The initial requirement is for 4 months.

Responsibilities/Duties (Basic and Intermediate) Initially screen all job requests except those that must be performed on the same day. Analyze job requirements to determine the best way to accomplish the work. Research job utilizing equipment history to leverage previously developed job plans. Create detailed job plans including task, resources, materials, cost, and safety/environmental requirements. Assemble job package including all instructions to execute work. Requisition all required materials through mechanical stores or Procurement. Schedule the work integrating both the customer's and maintenance's needs. Develop maintenance shutdown schedules integrating all activities into one comprehensive plan. Generate metrics to demonstrate performance and drive improvements.   Â

Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 4 yr. Technology degree required or a minimum of 5 years of maintenance planning in lieu of degree. Minimum 1-3 years (3-5 years Intermediate) experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, petro-chemical, or similar industries. Working knowledge of cGMP in a manufacturing environment, Lean Six Sigma methodology, root cause analysis, failure mode effects analysis, computerized maintenance management system (SAP), project planning software (Microsoft Project and/or Primavera) and CMRP certification.  Â
