Enterprise Reporting Analyst

EXPERIENCE:  1-2 years previous data analysis in a corporate environment.Candidates need to be an expert Cognos user. Candidates must have familiarity with pharmaceutical sales and marketing models, methods, and terminology such as detailing, NRx and TRx. Additionally, candidates much be familiar with Dendrite and IMS exponent data and feel comfortable dealing with clients.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Ø  Understand standard pharmaceutical audits (IMS, NDC, Verispan, etc) and apply this knowledge to answer key business questions and perform target list deciling or segmentation.

Ø  Work with sales management to develop systems for integrating, validating and analyzing physician target lists to recommend optimal territory mapping utilizing Tactician software.

 

Ø  . Providing the information and intelligence to drive critical business decisions through creation of field reports to communicate reach and frequency of sales calls.

Ø  Interpret physician sales data (territory, region, district, customer type, etc.) and provide recommendations for alignments to allow for additional sales opportunities

Ø  Makes changes and realignments to structures of existing programs: Zip to Territory, Territory to District, and District to Regions.

Ø  Assigns and re-assigns field employees to alternate territories when a new program is created or an old program is realigned.

Ø  Manage territory database and communicate newly created territories to multiple departments that require interface.

Ø  Responsible for loading newly created alignments and updates to current alignments into employee database.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Word, Excel and Access. Knowledge of Tactician and Sequel Server would be a plus.
