Engineering Project Administrator

This position is located at our site in West Boylston, Massachusetts.
Engineering Project Administrator
The Project Administrator will facilitate the day-to-day activities needed to support the execution of New Product Designs in accordance with the Integra Product Development process and Design Control requirements. Key activities include, but are not limited to, technical document preparation, product review coordination, maintenance of configuration control; Design Review, Product Development reviews, New Product Bill of Materials, CAD Product Structures, New Product Release Structures, scheduling, presentation preparation, meeting minutes collection and distribution; actively coordinate and update of project schedules, budgetary estimates, Latest Revised Estimates, and quarterly product development budget activities; and perform other administrative tasks as needed to support new product introductions activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Organize, support the preparation of, manage and control multiple project design and development documentation in electronic and hardcopy format
· Organize, manage and control the New Ideas project database, documentation and review process
· Organize, manage and control the execution of the Integra Product Development process Monthly PD Review, Quarterly Product Development Reviews and Gate Review requirements to include meeting scheduling, preparation, execution and generation of meeting minutes
· Provide administrative support to the execution of project Design Reviews
· Coordinate and update of project budgetary estimates, maintain and update project Latest Revised Estimates, and support the preparation for and input to quarterly product development budget activities
· Effectively use MS Word for Product Development documentation and Excel spreadsheets to maintain Project Design History Files.
· As needed, support Product Development and Project Management associates in the process of Product Releases, Making Bill of Materials for new product introductions and Coordinating manufacturing pilot builds of new product introductions.
· Provide administrative support for Project Review Meetings and Yearly Project / Product Budget Reviews.
· Monitor, Engineering Change Notices within the CAD systems making sure all Bill of Materials are correct for engineering and manufacturing pilots builds.
· Maintain and update project certification requirements such as Underwriters Laboratories, Canadian standards Association, European CE (Conformité Européne), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Medical Devices.
· Support all other duties as required.
EducationHigh School diploma or higher plus 6 years related experience. Or Associate's degree and 3 years experience within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.Proficient in use of the computer and software packages such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Some CAD background. ( SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM or Auto CAD,)Other Skills: Good oral and written communication skills, including an excellent understanding of grammar and ability to write from scratch. Ability to communicate effectively with internal associates. Good organizational and follow-up skills. Excellent attention to details.
