We are currently looking to fill the position for Eastern Division Retail Sales Manager located on the East Coast.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Closely working with the Eastern Division Regional Sales Manager, the Retail Sales Manager, will be responsible to train, develop, coach, and mentor employees in their career goals. Retail Sales manager will be expected to instruct and train employees in all aspects required for being successful in the company.
Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as liaison between the Regional Account Managers (RAMs) and Eastern Division Regional Sales Manager
Assists RAMs in developing and planning (time, expense, market) of their territory
Responsible for educating and training all RAMs
Responsible for participating in trade shows and conferences as well as conducting customer presentations
Manages Broker functions, such as motivational techniques and call level, as well as participating in Broker trainings
Conducts annual Performance and Development Conferences (PDC) or on as an “as needed basis,” monitors an individual’s objectives and progress and ensures regular “Follow up Meetings”
Motivates, encourages, and provides feedback to staff and helps establish career paths
Actively encourages interdepartmental communication and cooperation
Responsible for ongoing analyses of retail conditions through TEAMS
Manages budget activity, such as increase of sales, discounting practices and advertising
Analyzes and reports on actual sales, sales statistics and sales objectives
Establishes that sales objectives are met to company standards
Participates in management of Team Meetings
Coordinates and maintains timely schedule of sales calls (routing)
Prepares material for customer presentations
REQUIREMENTS Education: BS/BA degree is required
10+ years of sales/marketing experience
5 years people management experience preferred
Computer Skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Access)
Will travel domestic (primarily) and international (occasionally) locations (up to 65% travel required)
Knowledge of health food industry
