Talecris Biotherapeutics has the following opportunity at our RTP, NC facility:EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST Job #1835This position provides guidance on a broad range of Employee Relations services, including HR policy and procedure interpretation and/or applications; employee concerns and issue resolution; federal, state and local regulations and internal HR government compliance initiatives. You will be involved with developing, administering and training on HR policy and procedure development and administration, and identification of new ones that best meet the strategic needs of the organization. Other key tasks: creating and administration of our Affirmative Action Program; performing trend analyses and reports and conducting HR compliance initiative audits. Candidates must be effective communicators with at least 3-5 years' Employee Relations experience that includes developing and administering OFCCP-compliant Affirmative Action programs as well as EEOC. Highly developed interpersonal and consultative skills and the capacity to deal  with sensitive or controversial situations are required.
