Director of Sales CRO Pharmaceutical

Position Title:  Executive Director  Sales and Marketing Biopharma, CRO, Clincial Trials
         

Reports To:  President of Company           

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher Strong familiarity and experience in pharmaceutical Clinical Trials, CRO's, research, sales and/or product developmentDemonstrated project management and sales skillsDemonstrated interpersonal skills and critical thinking abilitiesDemonstrated leadership abilities                                  

  Negotiable salary, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:  Develop short, medium and long-range detailed business plans for molecular diagnostic testing performed in support of pre-clinical and clinical trials supported by pharmaceutical (or other) companies for the approval of human drugsPrepare and execute contractual agreements for studies and/or sample testing funded by external organizationsDevelop sustainable and regimented business model / process for developing client relationships and testing backlogEstablish detailed, accurate cost accounting for all laboratory and non-laboratory services performed in fulfillment of contractual obligationsResponsible for developing new client relationships and further developing existing client relationshipsEmployee and train a sufficient number of qualified personnel to fulfill non-laboratory contractual obligationsDevelop mid-level leaders to provided daily supervision in support of non-laboratory functions performed for CTS, (Custom Testing Services).
Develop an effective working relationship with Regulatory Affairs and the Clinical Laboratory to ensure optimal regulatory compliance (e.g. following GxP guidelines) and processing of samples

 

Performance Expectations: Provide strong leadership to effectively execute the CTS business planEstablish a diverse network of contacts in molecular diagnostic pharmaceutical testingEstablish contractual relationships with multiple client organizationDevelop a diverse caseload with multiple client organizationsGrow the existing custom testing services caseload, revenue and profit margins on a consistent basisImprove the efficiency by which CTS delivers results and fulfills contractual obligationsDevelop a scientific understanding of current and future opportunities for testing performed in support of pharmaceutical companies70-80% Travel involved
