Develop and direct marketing strategy and execution (via marketing plans) for Elastomeric products within Infusion Systems for the U.S. Region. Oversee development of franchise level marketing plans. Develop and implement division level marketing programs across product lines. Ensure marketing programs and strategies are benchmarked against best-demonstrated practices within healthcare/pharmaceutical markets. Manage U.S. Region P&L for Elastomerics and make resource allocation decisions (personnel, expenses) regarding marketing programs to drive growth and operational excellence. Explore new market growth opportunities and recommend new product/service ideas, product modifications/improvements based on findings of marketing research, competitive insight, and field sales representative feedback. Partnering with the global SBUs, provide regional marketing input into New Product Development (R&D) and Business Development through the WWPP and PDP processes. Coordinate market launches and market expansion with marketing, sales, and National Account organizations to ensure maximum penetration of targeted market segments. Develop strong strategic relationships with key customers. Cultivate KOLs and other Baxter lead forums. Provide continuing market surveillance/competitive intelligence and management of established franchises to identify customer needs and obtain financial objectives. Coach, mentor, and develop marketing talent. Work and develop strong relationships within a highly matrix-managed organizational structure. Lead project teams as assigned or requested. Key liaison for area of marketing responsibility with global leaders, reimbursement, and Government Affairs. Provide input into business development initiatives as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Solid strategic planning abilities and business acumen. Solid track record in leading projects to successful completion and leading experienced teams (internal and external resources). Strong ability to understand market trends, financial data, customer needs, and assess competitive intelligence data. Ability to develop and execute communication plans, messaging and branding campaigns. Strong skills in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, and creative product/program development. Masters degree required with minimum of eight to twelve years experience in marketing; health-care/pharma industry experience is a benefit. Proven track record in successfully launching new products and managing project teams. Background in strategic planning and business development helpful.
