Director Research and Development

Your management and PhD research skills can step you into a new career path to become the Director Research and Development in our Houston, TX laboratory.  Your knowledge will be utilized in a national reference laboratory doing unique analysis on patient samples.  We have experienced substantial growth in the past several years and are looking for the right leadership and research abilities to take our lab into the future.

 

You will be responsible for laboratory operations, supervision, policies, procedures, compliance to CLIA standards, manage budgetary responsibilities and travel as needed to conferences and conventions.

REQUIRES a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field.

 

REQUIRES have at least 7 years in a clinical medical (human) laboratory (reference lab or hospital lab) as a director or manager who is responsible for operations, management, budget, research and laboratory regulations and compliance. 

 

Must have a previous background in research in clinical chemistry, immunology or biochemistry. A cellular background is a plus.

 

Must have excellent communication skills and experienced in giving presentations to all size groups.

 

Must be able to travel as needed.

 

Only candidates with the above experience will be considered. Candidates without management and budgetary experience will not be considered.
