Director, Home Healthcare Work Location: Entire North RegionShifts: Not ApplicablePositions Available: 1Position Summary Under general direction of the Vice President of Regional Segment Sales ? Retail, responsible for directing the Home Healthcare activities in an assigned region. Supports the selling of medical surgical and durable medical equipment by calling on prospective and established customers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Supports implementation of programs and services relative to Home Healthcare. Maintains Home Healthcare programs within assigned territory by informing sales associates about available services, supplies, prices and new products. Trains and educates the sales force and customers on the need for and use of new and existing programs and services in the Home Healthcare segment. Consults on product ideas and uses to customers for enhanced profitability. Provides expertise on program products and services as it relates to Home Healthcare. Keeps records and prepares reports on sales activities. Works closely with sales associates in order to provide the most comprehensive and thorough customer product presentations. Assists sales associates with the delivery of sales presentations utilizing the AmerisourceBergen Storyboarding concepts as well as other company resources such as ePresentation and eBrochures; uses this concept and tools in the preparation and delivery of presentations to larger accounts. Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet sales objectives; must be willing to travel extensively to trade shows, conferences, national and regional sales meetings. Performs related duties as assigned. Experience and Education Requirements Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program or equivalent work experience. Normally requires a minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
