Job ID: NJS08-14 Position Title: Director, Field Sales Incentive CompensationWorking Location: NJ, BridgewaterEmployment Status: Full-TimeRequired Experience: 6 yearsRequired Education: Bachelors DegreeTravel Required: NoJob Description:Responsible for leading efforts between Sales Leadership, Forecasting and Marketing to define overall Incentive Compensation program which includes the design of all Field Based Incentive Compensation plans, Trimester Goal Setting, Monthly Administration to the field and Trimester Payouts. The position has dotted line reporting responsibilities to VP, Total Rewards and HR Systems and will support the Primary Care, Pain, Managed Markets and Hospital sales forces.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Oversee the Field Sales Incentive Compensation design process, gather input from stakeholders across the organization including but not limited to: Sales Leadership, HR, Finance, Compliance, Legal and the Leadership team.• Bring industry experience into the role and ensure that best practices are utilized in all aspects of the field sales incentive compensation program.• Create and design IC plans in accordance with trimester POA goals and objectives. Align financial targets to appropriate behaviors to achieve overall corporate goals with respect to Revenue and EPS.• Establish and Manage Field Force Goal Setting process across all teams.• Manage overall plan administration and payouts in a timely manner including monthly administration of scorecards to the field force and trimester payouts requiring coordination between Sales Leadership, HR, Compliance, Internal Audit, Payroll, etc.• Manage relationships/resources/budgets with key strategic partners ensuring that all contractual obligations pertaining to IC are met.• Coordinate all activities related to President’s Club, which include calculations, business rules, eligibility, trip coordination, communications and other activities.• Work with Sales and Marketing leadership across all brands and sales teams to design, develop, implement and communicate all Special Incentive Contests. Work with strategic partners to manage points based contest program that is utilized across all sales teams. • Manage rollout of all plans in accordance with POA cycles and provide training on IC programs during all initial representative training sessions.• Manage IC resources including budget and personnel. Essential Skills:The ideal candidates will bring pharmaceutical industry experience into the role and ensure that best practices are utilized in all aspects of field sales incentive compensation design and administration. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related degree combined with 6-8 years related experience in incentive compensation, sales, marketing, consulting, sales operations, technology or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
