Our client, a rapidly-expanding contract research organization headquartered in the RTP area, is actively recruiting for an astute, knowledgeable and versatile industry professional to lead the proposal and contract management efforts within its Business Development group. 

Company, through new service line offerings as well as organic growth, is undergoing tremendous expansion and change.  This Director will partner with the Client Services and BD teams to develop and executive smart and effective proposal/contract systems, policies and processes. 

 

Primary responsibility will involve managing a staff of 6 in the development of proposals and contracts.  In consultation with the Client Services teams, Director will drive the scope of work and budgeting processes as well as ongoing monitoring of contracts compliance.

 

The successful candidate will offer 8+ years in the CRO industry with demonstrated deep and broad knowledge of clinical research processes, costs, fees, etc.  Ability to significantly and insightfully contribute to the proposal and budgeting strategies will be important.  Ability to manage the team in the execution of the planned strategy will be critical.  BA/BS expected.  Advanced degree preferred.
