Director, Commercial Financial Services
POSITION SUMMARY
Position is responsible for the oversight of all commercial financial services
and commercial financial services vendors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These areas include but are not limited to domestic and international:
invoicing, collections, credit, returns, chargebacks, pricing implementations,
sales contract process and contract implementations, coding of customers for
appropriate customer groupings for reporting purposes, oversight of government
pricing, state gift reporting and revenue journal entries, revenue reporting and
driving revenue recognition issues to resolution. Responsible for managing the
implementation and oversight of recall processes with our third party vendor.
Business Partner to the Commercial organization (Sales Directors) in the
development of pricing program proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education/Certification
B.S. finance or accounting
MBA a plus
CPA preferred.
B. Experience
4-5 years working with revenue processes and accounting issues
Commercial financial support experience (pricing/analytics, etc.) Pharmaceutical or life sciences experience is preferred.
A. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities
Strong leadership/management skills to drive internal and vendor processes as
needed
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Solid organizational skills
Strong team oriented approach
