Position Description:

The primary goal of the Deputy Director Public Health Sales role is to achieve or exceed financial goals and quotas established for assigned states. The ability of the Deputy Director Public Health Sales to achieve this goal will be driven by the following key success factors:•Utilize product core arguments, strategies and tactics to develop and document specific state plans to drive increases in immunization rates and programs and manage the execution of those plans to drive the achievement of the financial goals.•Work with the SDRS, DDDS and Core teams in a leadership role providing analytical insight to ensure that state market trends, challenges and opportunities are recognized and communicated effectively enabling sanofi pasteur to respond to those trends quickly. This includes timely feedback to the Product Marketing Teams.The Deputy Director Public Health Sales will represent the Public Health interests of the home office to the field, and Deputy Director of Division Sales and to BPSs and to represent the interests of the field to the home office demonstrating teamwork and partnership within Commercial Operations and other key supporting functions. As the first line of field management, the Deputy Director Public Health Sales is responsible to actively engage in constructive feedback and foster an environment that encourages growth and development of the sales team.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V

Qualifications:

Minimum:Bachelors degree- 4+ years of successful pharmaceutical or medical device sales - 4+ of successful pharmaceutical or medical device sales management- Strong demonstrated leadership and management skills- Strong demonstrated business planning and analytical skills- Other relevant in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry in the area of marketing, account management, national accounts, public health, product management, etc.Prefered:- MBA or other relevant advanced degree
