Data Mapping Specialist
Bio-Imaging Technologies is currently seeking to fill the position of Data Mapping Specialist for our Clinical Data Management department.
Bio-Imaging is the world's leading provider of medical imaging management for clinical trials. Conveniently located in Newtown, PA, we are just minutes from I-95 and Center City Philadelphia.
Responsibilities:
- Working with clients to construct the Export Specification document which details the structure and content of the file to be exported
- Mapping data from Bio-Imaging database to the format specified by the client
- Creating programming instructions to transform data, as appropriate, translating source data into client specification
- Creating conversions to client code lists
- Proposing alternative solutions when format requested by client is not feasible
- Working with Bio-Imaging export programmers on complex data structures
- Maintaining version control
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associates/Bachelors degree in related field required
- Advanced courses in word processing and writing skills preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with:
- Databases and data structures
- Clinical trial data in pharmaceutical/biotech/CRO industry preferred
- SQL server, Microsoft Access, and Excel preferred
- Ability to multitask
- SAS experience a plus
