Customer Service Representative



We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to work in a Call Center, receiving customer orders by phone, fax, and/or email. Responsibilities also include resolving customer concerns, conveying technical information about Taconic products and services, and preparing invoices and reports.

Specific duties include the following:
* Communicate with customers to ensure accurate order placement and delivery for internal and domestic orders.
* Provide customers with product information and direct them to the appropriate technical personnel for additional information.
* Confer with transportation & common carrier personnel to trace missing or delayed shipments.
* Prepare and manage animal production inquiries.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of Taconic technical products and website in order to assist customers obtaining desired information.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Associate’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

* Proficiency with Windows based computer programs

* Strong attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills
