Cost Accountant

Responsibilities;Day to day accounting responsibilities for the Solid Oral Dosage business.Complete all financial closes in a timely manner – as directed by corporatePrepare and maintain general ledger entries Prepare and maintain general ledger account analysis Prepare and monitor results versus annual budget and quarterly forecasts Prepare local financial statements and review with operations & finance management Manage and maintain all cost accounting standards and variance analysesManage all inventories and perform physical inventories as requiredSupport operations initiatives through profitability analysis and potential product acquisitionsWork with internal & external auditors during year end audits and special projects Other Accounting department activities as neededRequirements;BS/BA preferred.  Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) 

Computer literate: familiarity with ERP software applications – Mfg Pro preferred

Good written and oral communication skills in English
