Contract Supervisor

Our client is a growing specialty pharmaceutical company.  They have asked us to assist them in their search for a Contracts Supervisor. The Contracts Supervisor is responsible for successful supervision of development, implementation and administration of contracts within assigned customer segments (Product, Pharmaceutical and Government) and supervises contract price administration.  Specific duties and objectives include: Supervise preparation of selected bids, sales contracts, special offer letters, and related documents, including but not limited to supporting analysis, documentation and sales reports. Responsible for reviewing contracts, bids, letters and related documents for compliance with company policies and processes. Ensure that contract documents flow through the defined contracts management process in a timely and accurate manner. Develop appropriate relationships and communication with internal contacts, including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Reimbursement and Accounts Receivable to ensure that department administration is appropriately supervised. Proactively revise and update processes. Work with contract customers and other business partners such as GPO’s and wholesalers to communicate and implement agreement terms. Oversee preparation, submittal, dissemination and administration of business information. We seek candidates with the following qualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited university required, up to 2 years professional experience.  Bachelor s degree in Arts, Business, or Sciences preferred. Industry experience with Managed Care, Medicare Part D and/or Part B contracting required, including interpretation of contracts, regulations and rules. Excellent negotiation, written and oral communication skills required. Must be well-organized and able to work under pressure. Strong computer skills a must, including SAP and Microsoft Suite.
