Contract Specialist - Chalfont, PA

Impax Laboratories, Inc. is a technology based specialty Pharmaceutical company applying its formulation expertise and drug delivery technology to the development of controlled-release and specialty generics in addition to the development of branded products.

Position Summary: This position requires information seeking and analytical thinking in order to maintain and update contracts that meet the needs of Impax Laboratories and external customers. 

 

Primary responsibilities include the following:  Contribute to the negotiation, creation, administration, and analysis of contracts with a variety of customers (i.e. Wholesalers, Retail Chains, GPOs, etc.)Update customer contracts in Sales & Marketing database and filesProcess customer rebates and Administrative Fees as required in customer contractsMaintain membership and eligibility for assigned customer contracts Provide contract award notifications to customer accounts, wholesalers and appropriate internal departments and follow through to confirm all information has been received and uploaded both internally and externallyCompile and complete necessary paperwork for bids, award notifications, and price changesResearch and validate rebate requests Assist Accounting with investigating chargeback discrepancies in order to achieve reconciliation of chargebacksIn a support role to the National Account Managers, manage customer relationship through communication between both partiesAct as liaison between National Account Managers and Accounting by carrying through to completion requests for Shelf Stock Adjustments, Rebates, Administration Fees, PM’s, etc.Support National Account Managers by fulfilling requests for sales reports from PRMS, CARS, and Oracle databasesInteract as part of the Sales & Marketing team to contribute to meeting departmental and company goals such as providing information as needed for projectsAnalyze contract sales and rebates and provide summary to National Account Managers on a regular basisEstablish work procedures and processes that support departmental and company standards, procedures, and strategic directives, working collaboratively with other departmentsMaintain and update job related SOPs on a continuing basisMeet all compliance related requirements, including any audit requests, SOX requirements, and adherence to all policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned Qualifications

The Minimum Requirements for this position include:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of one year of contract administration experience, including rebate and chargeback management and sales support experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Access)Working knowledge of the CARS system
