Contract Negotiator (exempt-level position)

Under general supervision of the Manager of Provider Relations and Contracting, this position will ensure the acquisition of PCPs, Specialists, Ancillary Providers and Hospitals to the Care1st Health Plan direct contracted network.

 

Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in negotiating professional and ancillary provider contracts.  Bachelor’s Degree in health administration preferred.  Must possess knowledge of Medi-Cal managed care and have knowledge of provider contracting and network development, as well as experience in provider relations and client services.  Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal abilities.  Demonstrated abilities to analyze, organize and implement.  Proficient in Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel and Access).
