Connectivity Systems ExecutiveIn this role you will lead the information technology clinical systems sales activities within the Hospira’s medication management systems business. You will provide lead technical sales support to the local sales teams in selling of system solutions our medication management product line hardware and software, device, wireless connectivity systems, integrations solutions, and the MedNet safety software. You will develop and execute IT business plan in conjunction with the account managers and MMS specialistsOther responsibilities: Demonstrate product capabilities to customers Assist in customer training, customer profiling, account maintenance and local trade show management Represent MMS in new product introductions and implementation of sales programs Provide feedback to marketing on field concerns, issues and requirements Interact with the development group to stay on the leading edge of technology advancements Assist with providing the voice of the customer into product directionYour territory will include Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. The candidate should reside in Dallas or Houston, TX.To be successful in this position, you must possess:  Bachelor’s degree is required with an IT or Engineering background  Minimum of 5 years of experience in Healthcare IT industry  Working knowledge of hospital IT environments and clinical information systems  Strong communication, presentation and inter-personal skills  Self-motivated and teamwork spirited  Ability to interface with all levels of management  Ease of talking with Physicians, Pharmacists and IT at highly technical levels  Working knowledge of the information technology industry as it relates to the hospitals with experience in clinical information technology, wireless connectivity and systems applications  Strong technical sales background with a demonstrated ability to display executive presence and charisma to all customer levels  Account management and long-term account development skills  Experience providing IT solution demonstrations is desirable  Ability to travel up to 60%-70%  Clinical applications experience/exposure is desirable  Demonstrated tactical and strategic selling skills (account analysis and business solution development)Our people make Hospira an organization of stature, and we’re proud of our accomplishments.
