Compounding Manager Position Requirements: Safety Setup / enforce a “Compounding Alert Systemâ€� that would immediately notify certain individuals if there are any Compounding related safety issues. Enforce / maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times. Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Good Housekeeping Practices (GHP’s), and all safety regulations. Ensure all plant, local, state regulations are in compliance at all timesQuality / Production Setup / enforce a “Compounding Alert Systemâ€� that would immediately notify certain individuals if there are any Compounding related production or quality issues: Raw Material Defects Equipment / component failure Finished Batch Compliance issues, etc. Establish a training plan for all new Compounding Operators Defined measurables for training period Defined measurables for post training period Ensure all current Compounding Operators are in compliance with said training Create / enforce procedures to reduce waste in our processes as they relate to: Timing Raw Materials Finished Goods Responsible for managing performance of team members, providing feedback and documenting results through performance appraisals. Evaluate staffing needs in order to effectively run lines and meet budget. Responsible for effectively communicating updates, changes, etc.Requirements:  BS Degree ( Engineering, Chemistry,) Min. 5 years in compounding/blending experience preferably in a consumer personal  care industry with at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience Excellent communicator in order to effectively coach and mentor direct team members Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, ERP systems Knowledge of FDA compliance required Effective written and  verbal communications skills required Mathematical and analytical skills required “hands-onâ€� knowledge of proper steps in trouble shooting problem and determining resolution Multi-tasking and time management abilities are essential, able to handle situations under pressure with effective results Ability to work in a fast-pace and changing environment
