Complaint Investigator
Lumenis Ltd. develops, manufactures and markets state-of-the-art proprietary laser and intense pulsed light devices. Its systems are used in a variety of aesthetic, surgical and ophthalmic applications, including skin treatments, hair removal, non-invasive treatment of vascular lesions and pigmented lesions, acne, ENT, gynecology, urinary lithotripsy, benign prostatic hyperplasia, open angle glaucoma, secondary cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, and refractive eye correction, as well as neurosurgery.
The Product Marketing Manager, is responsible for managing the day to day core product management strategy and driving the implementation of key marketing plans and initiatives for Lumenis' growing domestic and international market segments. This position's charter is to ensure full visibility to the Lumenis Worldwide sales organization and distributor partners of the on-going product life cycle modifications and to manage their effective and successful implementation. Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager, will work closely with global sales and regional marketing managers to establish a seamless, two-way communication vehicle addressing important metrics of the domestic and international business environment.
Major Responsibilities: Specific duties may include but are not limited to the following:
' Communicate product related updates and modifications to sales organization and corporate partners on a frequent basis.
' Develop pricing for all products and parts in the Specialty product group.
' Provide monthly product forecasts to manufacturing and planning.
' Develop ongoing promotional programs to drive sales through all channels.
' Serve as product/market expert by responding to sales staff requests related to Lumenis' technology, product positioning, competitive information and product performance.
' Provide guidance on the development and maintenance of packaging and labeling.
' Work with regional management to collect and assess the 'voice of the customer' perspective, competitive data and emerging technology trends in support of new product development, product enhancements and competitive positioning.
' Provide sales support to regional management by answering questions/resolving on-going product management issues.
' Other general and specified duties may be assigned, consistent with the company's goals, objectives and interests.
3. Level of Supervision Required:
Minimal, supervision required. Goals and objectives will be defined together with Management and fulfillment reviewed on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:
A. Education: BS in marketing, or industrial management. MBA preferred.
B. Experience: 7 + years of experience in a product marketing ophthalmic function in the medical device business. Background in Ophthalmic devices is a plus.
C. Technical Job Skills: In-depth knowledge of the product marketing function. Experience in new product development. Process-oriented approach to manage long-term and short-term tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills; superb verbal and written communication skills required. Applicant should be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
D. Travel: 30%- 40%.
