Fuze Beverage is seeking to add a Commercialization Leader to its growing team of professionals.In partnership with the Commercial Team, the Commercialization Leader is responsible for leading the development of new product and key program initiatives for Fuze Beverages.Job DescriptionOther Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Lead, coordinate and manage all operations aspects of the new product delivery and product change process from participation in ideation through successful, on-time in market commercialization. • Apply project management tools and concepts, oversee and manage quality and assume leadership for management of all technical areas associated with assigned projects.• Generate project plans and timelines to commercialize new products, product changes, or new production technologies (e.g., packaging, production, distribution, capitalization). • Monitor commercialization progress (e.g., weekly project meetings) to ensure delivery of projects within quality, cost, and time constraints. • Extensive interface with internal functions including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Legal and our manufacturing sites.• Interface with external partners including raw material, packaging, and contract manufacturing providers.• Manage preparation and distribution of technical/support documents for commercialization (e.g., including final product formula, mixing instructions, stability testing, product/technical information sheets, implementation guides and CIC letters). • Determine requirements for commercialization project communications to stakeholders, upper management and project team to ensure that everyone understands project scope, progress made and budget issues. • Act as scientific, regulatory, technical or quality expert and consultant by responding to targeted questions from the field or other departments/business units and providing support to branches, bottlers and customers. • Manage packaging design and development activities in support of new product / product change commercialization projects. • Determine initial ingredient requirements and availability using market forecasts and ensure continuity of supply.• Identify opportunities to improve product quality through improved compliance to specifications, improved design, and/or process improvements.Education: Bachelors Degree in Technical Engineering / Applied Science or equivalent work experienceRelated Work Experience: At least 5years Technical Skills:• Quality Assurance Principles: Knowledge and application of quality cost analysis, inspection, corrective action planning, customer and consumer satisfaction tracking, internal monitoring in order to detect and correct non-conforming information, materials or processes using modern quality problem-solving tools.• Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes; includes understanding how design changes will affect these processes with regards to lead time, resource requirements, acquisition cost and tooling cost. Knowledge of material handling processes for moving materials/products throughout the manufacturing and distribution process. • Process Management: Knowledge of process definition, flow charting and process management techniques. Includes knowledge of scale-up from bench to commercialization and process/formula ingredient interactions. Ability to establish and define processes, interrelationships, key controls, and to continuously monitor and improve processes to facilitate the efficient and effective execution of business activities. • Process Systems: Knowledge of process design standards and methods. • Advanced Packaging: Knowledge of packaging materials (e.g., can and end, closure, glass bottle, plastic bottles, and thermally processed and sensitive beverages). Includes knowledge of material design, functionality, performance standards, specifications and test procedures.
