Clinical Project Manager: Pharmaceuticals NW Suburban Boston Our client, an established NW Suburban Boston Area medical technology & pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager for their Clinical Operations Department. This position reports to the Associate Director Clinical Operations. The Clinical Project Manager manages, monitors and coordinates the effort of clinical trial project teams. Meets with team members regularly regarding their mission-oriented project tasks to ensure that project milestones are met. Supports the development of the project budget, scope and manages the project administrative tasks. Also provides training and consultation related to clinical study initiation and ongoing operating activities in the conduct of clinical trial projects. § Functions as Project Manager for clinical trials. directly managing all aspects of a clinical project when performed in house or by CROs. § Directly participates in vendor selection, including RFP generation, review of proposals, capability presentations, selection and management § Assume the operational and financial management of projects § Draft and implement project plans, including monitoring plan, project specific SOPs listing, risk, timelines, project and site budgets, resourcing, vendor management, etc.§ Monitor overall workloads of project team members, organize appropriate training, and monitor and record subsequent performance to assess the effects of training on efficiency. § Organize and chair clinical project team meetings, address and resolve issues identified. Ensure agenda is distributed prior to meeting and accurate meeting minutes are taken to appropriately document discussions, decisions and action items. § Assist in the review of study specific monitoring manuals, procedures, operational guidelines and liaison with IRBs and Ethics Committees, etcRequirements:R Scientific degree (e.g. RN, BSN, BAJBS/MS Degree, Pharmacy, Biology) R 5+ years of clinical research or other relevant work experience in drug or device development is requiredR 2+ years of project management experience. PMI certification a plusR Working knowledge of GCPs, FDA regulations, and drug development processR Willingness to travel 30%. Interested?
