The Clinical Business Manager (CBM) will be responsible for achieving and maximizing territory and account sales goals through account management, high level clinical proficiency and effective selling. The CBM will be the primary point of contact from Cubist with key hospital influencers and decision makers across key functional areas including but not limited to: physician, pharmacists and formulary committee members.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve area sales objectives.
- Develop positive relationships with key hospital decision makers and influencers to get Cubicin placed on formulary in targeted hospitals.
- Effectively communicate the clinical and economical benefits of Cubicin to decision makers and convince target audience that Cubicin is a superior alternative to the competition.
- Effectively diagnose accounts and determine account priority.
- Effectively analyze sales data to identify opportunities and/or areas of concern.
- Develop and implement action plans based on sales objectives.Required Skills
- Candidate must possess deep customer knowledge and understand the hospital marketplace and the goals and concerns of each targeted hospital within their defined territory (patient care issues, protocols, reimbursement).
- Candidate must be able to educate targeted individuals on the clinical and economic benefits of Cubicin and work closely with Sales Management and Medical to present a unified approach and consistent data to the customer.
- Candidate must also possess strong account management skills including but not limited to: negotiation, communication, influence and leadership.Required Experience
- Strong track record of sales success and leadership (sales performance in the top 25%).
- Ability to comprehend and utilize technical information.
- Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical, biotech or related sales experience.
- Minimum of 3 years hospital sales experience.
- Anti-Infective sales experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree (scientific background preferred but not required).Total Rewards:
