Chemistry Group Leader
CHEMISTRY GROUP LEADER
BioScreen Testing Services Inc., a well-established consumer product-testing laboratory, providing services to the Pharmaceutical/ Biotech, Medical Device and OTC/Personal Care industries, is currently seeking a Chemistry Group Leader / Project Leader.
Job Description:
BioScreen Testing Services Inc., has an immediate opening for an experienced pharmaceutical Analytical Chemist. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in chemistry and 2-4+ years hands on experience using analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC, GC or ICP. Wet chemistry skills such as those used in testing raw materials are a plus. Any method development and validation experience is a plus. GMP experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries would be advantageous, if not on-site training would be given. Effective communication and technical writing skills, and a proven ability to succeed in a fast paced environment are essential for this position. Supervisory training and experience is a must.
Education:
Requires a Ph.D. degree with a minimum of 2-4 years hands on experience using analytical instrumentation, including HPLC and GC.
Company requires a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
BioScreen offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefit package as well as a moving allowance. The company is located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, only two miles from the Pacific Ocean.
