This opening is located in Bedford, MAAs the leading supplier of life science technology and related applications, we are helping life scientists understand and use the power of biology to pursue new scientific discoveries and methods for diagnosing and treating disease. Responsible for the manufacturing of approximately 25 chemistries applied to poly-styrene based resins. - set up and operate glass reactors, pumps, pressure transfer systems, vacuum dryers, and various instrumentation - revise and write SOP's and UOP's. - optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality and cost effectiveness. - perform maintenance of laboratory and equipment. - handle hazardous waste and bulk chemicals - maintain batch and equipment records per department's ISO 9000 standards.

Experience and Skills: - 5 or more in relevant chemical manufacturing operations required. - Additional experience performing organic synthesis preferred. - Able to work independently as well as work with a diverse team. - Knowledge of document control protocols. - Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory control systems desired. - Experience with cGMP and ISO 9000 is a plus - Good math and mechanical skills. Education: Minimum # HS diploma, graduate of Biotech or similar certificate program, desired. BS in Chemistry or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
