Chemical Compounder
Biophase Solutions specializes in placing the top talented professionals in the leading Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical companies in Los Angeles and Orange County. We are currently recruiting for a Chemical Compounder to work at a Pharmaceutical company in Pomona, CA.
Chemical Compounder
Duties:
The operator is required to perform batching operations under the supervision of a chemist. Duties include complete setup of mixing and processing equipment, weighing of ingredients, compouding, chemical stock handling, equipment and area cleanup, and light equipment maintenance. Completing production forms is critical, and performing all operations is consisten manor is required. Fork Lift operation is also mandatory.
Experience:
Two to three years in a manufacturing environment compounding industrial size formulations. In addition, good mechanical aptitude is necessary in order to perform occasional trouble-shooting, setups, and completing routine maintenance on compounding equipment. Successful completion of general chemical manufacturing training program must be achieved.
Education:
U.S High School Diploma minimum. Proficiency in English language and communication skills mandatory for following written setup instructions and completing production forms required by FDA and ISO regulations, in addition to safety considerations in a chemical manufacturing facility. Excellent mathmatical skills are required for counting, weighing, materials calculation, and execution of written compounding instructions.

4) Safety in operations and material handling
5) Equipment care, use and storage
