Cell Culture Analyst - Part time!

We have an immediate need for a part time cell culture analyst to join a biotech company located in Lexington, MA.  The hours are mornings (4 hours), 5 days a week.Job Description:  Individual will be responsible for weekly maintenance and propagation of all mammalian cell cultures, both adherent and suspension.  He/she will be responsible for maintaining frozen cell stocks and thawing cell stocks when necessary and for preparing all cell culture media and reagents.  Individual will be responsible for the determination of cell densities and viabilities on all cultures on a bi-weekly basis.  Individual will be responsible for plating cells for subsequent assays as directed by the experimenter.   Skills:  Experienced in mammalian cell culture techniques including the growth and maintenance of adherent and suspension cell cultures.  Experienced in freezing and thawing cell stocks, preparation of media and cell culture reagents, experienced in determining cell counts and viabilities and plating cells in various cell culture vessels.  Ability to carefully follow directions, interface with the cell biologists and maintain detailed, accurate records is essential.Qualified candidates please send resume to kristin.obrien@onassignment.com .  Contact Name: Kristin O'Brien Company:  Lab Support, a division of On Assignment Address: 1 New England Executive ParkSuite 101Burlington,MA 01803 Job Status:  Full Time, Part Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Category:  Biotech/R&D/Science Apply Now!
