CNS/NICU Area Sales Manager - Northeast

SUMMARY: The CNS/NICU Area Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for increasing the sales and market share of the promoted products within an assigned geographic area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Achieve or exceed market share and sales volume goals.Hire and lead a team of Specialty Sales Representatives (SRs) to sell current Ovation products.Independently analyze data to develop and implement an effective district business plan to maximize sales in the geographic area.Effectively allocate and utilize available resources to drive sales with key accounts and customers.Assure adherence to all standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines as set forth by the organization.Manage performance to ensure sales goals are achieved. REQUIRED EDUCATON:Bachelors Degree preferably in business or life scienceREQURED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience with proven performance.3+ years of prior sales management experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated success. Highly effective at coaching representatives to use peer reviewed medical literature and other company-approved resources to influence key decision makers.Strong leader with a proven record of sales achievement and outstanding communication skills.Demonstrated track record of success in building high performing sales teams that regularly meet or exceed goals.Strong planning and organizational skills; demonstrated decision-making ability.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.Valid drivers license in good standing.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Hospital/Neurosciences experience preferred.Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred.
