CIRB Project Manager

The EMMES Corporation, organized in 1977, is a privately owned Contract Research Organization (CRO) located in Rockville, Maryland. EMMES is dedicated to providing statistical and epidemiological expertise, computer systems development, data management, study monitoring, regulatory guidance, and overall operational support to clients engaged in clinical and biomedical research. EMMES is seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist with the implementation of the CIRB project.





 

Primary Responsibilities

 

· Implementation of Project Management Plan for the CIRB

· Ensuring adherence to contract time lines and deliverables

· Communicating with NCI POs and attending meetings involving time lines, deliverables and task requests

· Prioritizing work and/or negotiating with POs and CIRB staff to meet needs and deadlines

· Manage sub-contractor deliverables and invoices

· Assist EMMES PI and Contracts in managing the project budget

 

Primary Requirements

 

· At least 8 years of managerial experience under federal contracts with documented evidence of successful management of complex projects or major project components

· Appropriate health-related degree

· Minimum of 8 years of experience with quality assurance and federal regulations in clinical research arena would be advantageous
