Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91319Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend Hudson, one of the world's leading professional solution providers, and a division of Hudson Highland Group, Inc., is looking for a IS Business Systems Analyst.  This position is in Thousand Oaks, CA and is a 1+ year long consulting engagement for a bio-tech client**Please Note Qualified Candidate MUST have Bio-Tech/Pharmaceutical industry experience to be considered ** Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the IS Business Systems Analyst involves partnering with major segments of the Amgen organizations in order to define and implement Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategies (REMS).  The team is chartered with defining a process, framework, and infrastructure to support REMS programs for Amgen therapies.  Job Requirements: * B.S/M.S. degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.  * 8 plus years related experience. * In-depth IT experience and knowledge concerning requirements management, business process analysis, and object-oriented analysis and design. * Strong background and experience in drug discovery, development, regulatory affairs and safety is highly desirable. * Must be proficient in the Unified Modeling Language (UML), especially use cases, and activity diagrams. * Must understand the software development life cycle, Rational Unified Process (RUP), and software quality methodologies. * Candidates should have experience working in regulated environments and should be knowledgeable regarding FDA GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations and software system validation. * The candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills, and sufficient subject matter expertise to be able to communicate effectively with senior Ph.D./M.D. level clients. * Ability to lead and work as part of a team. * Must have high learning agility, innovation, and problem solving skills.
