An industry leader in FDA-regulated contract testing, located in Los Angeles, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative.  The company performs FDA regulated testing for pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and OTC personal care and cosmetics companies. This is an outside sales job, with travel required on a weekly basis.  The candidate must be a self-starter.

 

Main Responsibilities

 New Business Development - increase sales revenue through new account  development. Account Management - develop relationships and expand opportunities to increase sales revenue from existing accounts.Attend and work industry meetings, tradeshows and eventsWritten sales reports to sales manager 

 

 Qualifications

 Sales experience preferredMinimum BA or BS in a science discipline  Live in the Bay AreaKnowledge of microbiology/analytical chemistry/or clinical testing a definite plus Ability to work effectively people at all levels of client companiesExcellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point

 

 The company has been in business since 1985 and is well established as a national leader in contract testing services. The main office is located in Torrance California with clinical testing facilities in Phoenix Arizona. The Candidate must have the ability to work off site independently. Travel to other states in the western US is also required.
