Business Analyst (TM)

Overview

Work with business functional users to gather and analyze requirements and define process and systems solutions for these requirements; specific concentration with engineering and manufacturing functionality.

Position Specific Requirements

 Lead and actively participate in all phases of the system involvement including requirements gathering to functional and technical specifications and analysis, system design and development, testing and implementation of Oracle ebusiness suit functionality. Develop strong partnerships to fully understand business processes analysis and solution design, and work with users to identify business issues/requirements and recommend cost effective solutions. Responsible for performing systems analysis and application configuration on the Oracle ebusiness suite application. Work with functional community to test and implement patches and changes to application environment, and effectively implement and document change management procedures. Support users, help to troubleshoot application issues and develop creative solutions to support business needs. Serve as a leader in project management process for application development (new modules) and upgrade projects includings scope identification, project planning, and project status. Responsible for developing and adhering to project standards to ensure the delivery of quality deliverables. Utilize Oracle reports, Applications Interfaces, Workflow customizations and other technical tools to meet business requirements. Work with users to write work standards and procedures to provide consistent training and testing materials for business processes. Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications 

 

BS Degree and/or five years prior experience.  Experience in Oracle Applications with significant exposure to version 11i.  Must have an in-depth experience in Oracle engineering and manufacturing modules.  Experience with Oracle reports, applications interfaces, workflow customizations and other technical issues.  Experience facilitating resolutions of Oracle applications issues through the Oracle Service Request (SR) process.  Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, estimate resource load, and proactively manage IT customer expectations.  Five years of progressive, professional experience performing business analysis and end-user support in a corporate environment.  Strong requirements analysis skills with business knowledge in Oracle applications modules.  Good English writing skills with ability to develop clear technical documentation.  Good presentation skills.  Ability to work as part of a team, yet work independently on complex problems.
