Biotech/Life Science - Instrumentation Sales Specialist - Houston, TX

We are currently looking for an experienced Instrumentation Sales Specialist based in Houston, TX.  This person will be responsible for driving sales objectives and providing field technical support within an assigned geographic region and focus on key accounts and key areas. The Instrumentation Sales Specialist will also be responsible for all logistics associated with completing a successful final product installation and customer training.

 

Requirements include:

Ø  Bachelors Degree in a Life Sciences discipline

Ø  Capital Equipment Sales Experience

Ø  Experience working in a laboratory with technical instruments

Ø  Experience delivering effective technical presentations to scientific researchers

Ø  Previous successful experience in developing customer relations

Ø  Strong desire to succeed and ability to execute on multiple tasks

Ø  Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities

Ø  High proficiency in PC software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM application)

Ø  Willingness to travel extensively to accomplish assigned objectives (50% or greater)
