Description: Applies scientific and statistical principles to accomplish a wide variety of technical applications for immunoassay development. Conducts research, analysis, and experimentation for such purposes as product and process development.Responsibilities: • Provides assistance in research, analysis, and experimentation for product and process development for kinetic (real time) PCR assays. • Routinely operates sample preparation and amplification / detection instruments. • Assists with assay validations and conducts routine testing following written protocols. • Familiarity with Microsoft WORD and EXCEL to participate in data analysis and drafting of technical protocols and reports. • Must follow safe practices for handling of potential biohazards and human sourced materials. • Assists in developing designs for a variety of products, processes, and components. • May assist with investigation of the performance of raw materials to use in the manufacture process of the product. • Seeks advice and guidance on nonroutine or problem areas from others. • Identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.Qualifications: • Bachelor's in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry. • Demonstrated knowledge of Molecular Biology. • 1-2 years successful laboratory experience. • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.Discover all that’s possible with Yoh.
